J.C. Rawlings was established 60 years ago by John Rawlings company founder. The initial focus was on constructing residential dwellings, however he quickly moved into construction of light commercial buildings.
J.C.Rawlings is a company built on traditional family values with 3 generations operating the business with our founder John Rawlings (now retired) being joined in the business by his son Chris and grandson Craig.
J.C. Rawlings has assisted in building a better future for all Victorians through our work with schools and universities, churches, banks, hotels, recreational centres, hospitals, nursing homes and state and local governments.

Numerous houses built in the S/E suburbs, first architectural project completed along with renovations in Toorak and Balwyn - 2-3 employees |

Several successful tenders were won to build many projects including 'War Service Homes', some factory extensions and several doctor's surgeries. One of these doctor's, Mossy Hain was responsible for bringing Chris Rawlings into the world! |

John Rawlings along with his wife Betty looked after the estimating, bookwork and invoicing for the company. Projects included several houses, renovations and factory extensions. |

Chris Rawlings starts apprenticeship, 1971. JC Rawlings moves towards the commercial sector - undertaking projects for the Commercial Bank of Australia including the amalgamation with Bank of New South Wales and work on Windemere Hospital. First Westpac ATM in Victoria installed by JC Rawlings. JC Rawlings also began a 3 decade relationship with Peters Ice Cream. |

J.C.Rawlings has a firm commitment to job safety and has instigated a strict Occupational Health and Safety program.
As a current signatory to the VBIA and EBA, we adhere to all industrial and safety requirements. Our project and site managers are Level 3 OH&S accredited and receive regular industry updates provided by the MBAV and Work Safe Victoria.
All our site managers are also qualified in Level 2 First Aid and we are committed to the Industry's Quality Assurance principles.
